How we created a promotion with 0 euro prizes budget
When you have the budget you can have, for example, a promotion in which you offer a free pizza for each DVD bought. But what happens when the budget is too small to afford any attractive prizes? You find something of a perceived value greater than the actual value. You must always consider the fact that there are certain things that can cost the client very little or nothing, while being very valuable to the consumer.
That was our idea when we created for our client Hollywood Multiplex, a promotion in which we offered the winners 10-years of free access in cinema. The number of prizes was calculated based on the average vacancy rate – there are always unsold seats. It was the first prize of this kind offered in Romania.
