Buraq Society

Buraq Society

Buraq Planetary Society was launched, in 1993, with the intent to enlighten the ‘bright youth’ of Pakistan regarding space exploration, to inculcate in them a sense of national unity, social responsibility and to empower them with a creative mindset and ability to think out of the box. Buraq’s first accomplishment was that of immediately receiving international recognition by sending three of its members to the Uzbekistan Space Camp. In 1994, Buraq held its first Pakistani Space Camp in Murree and has held nine camps since then. Graduate Buraqians play a key role in the organization of Space Camps, creating a self-supporting hierarchy of individuals who understand the Buraq experience firsthand.

Eikon7 has done a commendable job in revamping and reinvigorating the spirit of Buraq Planetary Society, which it dearly wishes to uphold. Eikon7 has helped in creating a positive mindset amongst the youth of Pakistan who look forward to work for the betterment of the society and get immense experience by being a part of the Buraq Space Camp. Eikon7 has successfully managed to preserve the culture of Buraq Planteray Society while coming up with new innovative ideas to target the untapped segments of the society.

Eikon7 along with its parent company, Interactive Group, continues to strive for the welfare of the society by launching Corporate Social Responsibility Projects (CSR) such as Buraq Planetary Society that have done wonders for the youth of Pakistan by providing them with a platform to showcase their skills and to make them aware of their surroundings and purpose in life.
